This 'Home' was initially built for the training of those who intended to become life-members of the Fathers of Holy Cross. Following a change in the training program, the building is now a 'Home' for migrant students who come to Bengaluru for better educational facilities.
The Holy Cross Family Ministries (HCFM) caters to the spiritual welfare of families in South India through a variety of activities. The HCFM for South India is headquartered at the Holy Cross Students' Home and runs HOPE Counselling Centre in its premises.
